Meet Claire!
Q: How did you get into the (diamond/jewelry/gold) industry?
"Throughout college, I worked in sales at a boutique jewelry store in the Hamptons. I absolutely adored being surrounded by diamonds all day and eventually, the position led me to work as their graphic designer in Manhattan. Although graphic design was a passion of mine, I knew helping clients find their dream engagement ring was my calling!"
Halo or no halo?
"No halo!"
Plain or diamond band?
"I certainly love a super slim, classic solitaire band - preferably in rose or yellow gold!"
Favorite ring design you've ever made?
"I am typically not crazy about pear-shaped stones as my hands are a bit too small for the elongated shape - however, I recently made a stunning all yellow gold custom graduating halo setting for a beautiful 2.8ct pear-shaped diamond and it came out absolutely breathtaking! It is truly a one-of-a-kind ring and I love the vintage appeal."
Piece of jewelry or gold you can't live without/ wear all the time?
"My rose gold compass set eternity band! I also never take off my round mini-halo halfway band or my crown ring, which serves as a great addition to any stack."
White gold, platinum, yellow gold, or rose gold?
"I love to wear yellow on my neckline, but all of my rings with diamonds are rose gold which I personally think makes the diamonds pop! I also have my stud earrings set in platinum, as I think mixing metals is always okay if done tastefully!"
Ideal Date?
"Going out for spicy margaritas and guacamole or exploring a new part of NYC!"
Favorite part of the job?
"Helping my clients throughout the ring customization process and seeing it all come to fruition - being sent proposal photos from my clients melts my heart! Also, playing with diamonds all day is a girl's dream."
How do you describe your design aesthetic?![](https://ctageadm.sirv.com/media/catalog/product/r/o/round_4-50_ct_1_.jpg?scale.option=ignore&canvas.width=600&canvas.height=600&w=600&h=600&canvas.opacity=0)
"Feminine and girly yet classic - like a rose gold round solitaire or a 3 stone ring!"
