Frequently Asked Questions
What is a halo setting?
A Halo setting is one of the most popular types of diamond ring designs. "Halo" refers to a row of pave diamonds that seamlessly encases the center stone, giving it a larger appearance, similar to that of an angel's halo.
What’s the difference between a regular halo and a Hidden Halo™?
A typical halo refers to a row of pave diamonds that seamlessly encases the center stone, giving it a larger appearance. Our Hidden Halo™ engagement ring features two rows of pave diamonds concealed beneath the center-stone with the top row peaking out every so slightly.
What are the different types of halo settings?
At Lauren B, we offer several types of halos! We have the classic halo, which features a single row of diamonds surrounding the center stone and is only visible from the top of the ring. Next, we have the double halo which features two rows of pave diamonds surrounding the center stone, only visible from the top of the ring. Our most popular type of halo is our Double Edge Halo which features one row of diamonds surrounding the center stone and a second row of diamonds lining the edge of the halo, facing outward for that perfect profile shine.
Which center stone shapes are most popular with halos?
The most popular center stone shapes to set in a halo are cushion cuts, oval shapes, radiant cuts, and pear shapes!
